Help Us Build Our Sanctuary!

As Louisiana’s only dedicated rescue for special needs and specially-abled kittens, we have been a critical lifeline for cats with physical and medical challenges—giving them the care and second chances they deserve since 2021.

Our one-of-a-kind foster program along with the support of our community has paved the way for kittens with a wide range of physical and medical conditions, including paresis, paralysis, partial/full incontinence, congenital heart defects, hydrocephalus, encephalocele, epilepsy, cerebellar hypoplasia (mild to severe), blindness, deafness, broken and degloved jaws, limb abnormalities, traumatic brain injuries, pectus excavatum, neurological disorders, patent urachus, spinal injuries, kidney disease, Manx syndrome (mild to severe), and hernias so severe they make your vet say, “Mama mia, I can’t even call that a hernia!”—along with various other congenital defects and injuries.

To expand this lifesaving work a brick-and-mortar facility will serve as a safe haven for short and longterm rehabilitation cases as well as a home for lifelong sanctuary residents.

This is a monumental task, and we can’t do it alone. Initial projections for this facility and associated costs are estimated to be around $250,000. Any support—big or small—helps to bring this sanctuary to life.

Together, we have accomplished the once-unimaginable for kittens in Louisiana and beyond and together, we can ensure they will always have a future full of hope and a place to call home.
