Turnip & Bumbleberry Surgery Fund
Ever since they were kittens we’ve known that Bumbleberry and especially Turnip weren’t built just right but the hope was that as they grew their bodies would straighten themselves out. Well.. they didn’t. Among other things, Turnip and Bumbleberry both have medial patellar luxation in both back legs. Bumbleberry has a Grade 1 and Grade 3 while Turnip has a Grade 4 out of 4 in both. Right now they both walk a little funny, but overtime this will only make walking more difficult and painful. They both require MPL surgery, which would typically runs almost $10,000 altogether, but The Cat Practice Veterinary Clinic saw their story and offered to help by doing both surgeries for just $3,000, which is so insanely kind. Every little bit helps to give these two the chance to live pain-free, comfortably chaotic little lives.
