How to Change a Recurring Donation

After a recurring donation is made, the donor will receive an email to set up their Donorbox donor account by creating a password. The donation email will be their username.

To edit your recurring donation as a donor, go to Donorbox.org and log in to your donor account by clicking the Donor Login link at the top of the page. If you didn't set up your account via the setup email, please use the Forgot Password link. This will allow you to establish a donor account.

You will then have access to your monthly donation plans. Click the Active link on the donation plan that you wish to edit.

On the next page, to change your donation amount, type a new amount in the text box under Amount and click the blue change link. Once you do this, you'll set up your new donation amount. 

Please note that, unfortunately, PayPal does not allow Donorbox to make edits for recurring donations. You will need to log in to your PayPal account directly and make your changes there.

How to Update Payment Information

To edit your recurring donation as a donor, go to donorbox.org and log in to your donor account by clicking the Donor Login link at the top of the page.

Note: If you haven't claimed your donor account via the setup email, you can create a password to sign in to Donorbox through the password reset link here.

Once you log in, you can follow these steps:

Step 1

Click the Active button to the right of the donation plan (or anywhere within the white box for your plan) that you wish to edit. 

To change your payment information, click the Payment Method link.

Step 3

Enter your new payment information, and click Update Card. If the organization has enabled bank transfers on their end, you'll also be able to switch from card payments to bank transfers, and vice versa. 

Once that's done, you're all set!
