Adopt

Step 1: Before applying read through our Frequently Asked Questions.
Step 2: Look over our adoptables and submit an adoption application.

Please note that all kittens must be adopted with another kitten unless there is already a young friendly, playful cat in the home. Bonded pairs must be adopted together. Adult cats that would do well as the only cat in the home are considered solo cats. We consider all applicants including those that are out-of-state. An application fee of $10 is required to process applications.

Special Needs / Abled

Our special needs / specially-abled kitties vary greatly in care needed. Some are simply differently abled while some require more consideration and care in the home.

Albi

Loves: being held like a baby, being a baby, using her big cartoon baby eyes to get what she wants

Albi is a very confident girl who knows exactly what she wants - and that is to be on your lap, perched atop your shoulder, snuggled right next to you. Albi has a leg abnormality that causes her front left leg to fold inward. She gets around mostly likely a tripod but will occasionally use her left paw to stand and sometimes slide. Albi would do well solo in a home where someone is home more often than not.

Medical note: Albi has a congenital front leg deformity is eligible to remain under the rescue’s medical care through our primary vet for routine care as well as any issues that may arise relating to her leg deformity.

Estimated birthday May 2024

Sopapilla

Loves: being adored, chatting, loafing around

Sopi is a SUPER sweetheart and complete snuggle bug. She would be a perfect companion for a quieter home with no loud pups or kiddos. She is a true people’s cat and quite the talker with an adorably precious meow. Sopi does have limited vision but has no problem navigating new spaces quickly and can find her litter box food and water with ease. She is pretty clingy. She also has an abnormally shaped front paw that requires routine nail clippings. Sopi can be adopted solo or into a home with a friendly kitty friend.

Medical note: Sopi has congenital eye deformities and is eligible to remain under the rescue’s medical care through our primary vet for routine care as well as any issues that may arise relating to her congenital issues.

Butter Bean “BB”, Mild Cerebellum Hypoplasia

Adoptable special needs tabby cat with cerebellar hypoplasia "wobbly cat syndrome" lying on a bed with white bedding, looking at the camera.

Loves: staying tucked in bed, meowing for attention, following you everywhere, silliness
Quirks: pulls his food bowl to his preferred spot, fireman climbs down furniture

BB looks serious but is a silly ridiculous creature that just wants attention. He will follow you everywhere and loves to tuck himself into bed at night right next to you. He is super playful and loves all sorts of toys especially scratching posts and kicker toys. As far as special needs guys go BB is what we’d call level easy peasy as he is much more specially abled than needy. He doesn’t need much accommodation he just moves and grooves in a different way. He’s a wobbly cat sure but he can get up and down stairs, eat out of normal dishes, use a normal litter box he’s just not jumping on counters or table tops. BB would do wonderfully solo but could also adjust to a kitten friend down the line. BB does not do well with pups even small calm ones. No pups for this guy.

Medical note: BB has cerebellar hypoplasia and is eligible to remain under the rescue’s medical care through our primary vet for routine care.

Estimated birthday February 2022
